Gala Dinner

Unfortunately, during the seminar period, the weather forecast is unfavorable and the Organizing Committee has decided, for everyone’s safety, to move the outdoor gala dinner at the Botanical Garden to the Museum of Classical Art located on the Sapienza campus.

However, the organizing committee decided to allow all seminar participants to visit the Botanical Garden free of charge during the days of the conference.
To take advantage of the free visit, simply show your EFS16 badge at the entrance of the Garden.

Museum of Classical Art

Commonly called the Plaster Museum or Gypsotheque. The museum is divided into 56 rooms displaying more than 1,000 plaster copies of works ranging from the classical age to late Hellenism. It is located in the building that houses the Faculty of Humanities.

Botanical Garden

The garden was established on this site in 1883, although it is the successor to the Papal Botanical Gardens going back to the Renaissance. Today the garden contains more than 3,000 species, with a Japanese garden, bamboo groves, and a Giardino dei Semplici (over 300 species of medicinal plants).
